James A. Stone Electric, Inc.

The entire team at James Stone Electric is fantastic to work with - very responsive, respectful and conscientious.

The very, very best electricians! We highly recommend James A. Stone Electric! Ben and James are professional, honest and get the job done!

Ben from James at Stone Electric installed new LED garage lighting for me and replaced and added the outlets and switches in the space. The difference is literally night and day! The garage went from dim and shadowy to surgical-room bright, so I can actually work on projects in it. Ben walked me through the fixture layout beforehand so I understood what the coverage would look like, showed up when he said he would, and finished in a single day. He was professional and clearly very knowledgeable with electrical code and new exacly what to do. He answered every question I had without making me feel like I was slowing him down. When he left, the garage was cleaner than when he got there. If you're looking for a residential electrician in the Mamaroneck area, this is the company I would trust. Great to have a reliable, local electrician for this kind of work! I'd use Stone Electric again without hesitation, and I'd recommend them to anyone in Westchester County needing garage lighting, outlet and switch replacement, or any other residential home electrical work!

James assessed our post-flood basement renovation and Ben performed such clean work rewiring, moving fixtures and running CAT6 cables with an attention to detail you just don’t find these days. Ben had a great attitude and was a pleasure to work with. He also helped me with suggestions to make the space better.

We have used James A Stone Electric for several jobs over the past 5 years, large and small. They are consistently the highest quality electricians I've worked with, and now I always reach out to them first for any job. A few things about this team that impresses me: 1. Same crew for years: James Stone, Ben Stone, Michael, and others have been with them for a long time, and it's the same guys who come out and have gotten to know our house. 2. Responsive: They call you back and come out when they say they will 3. Professional: The wiring is done right and the job is professional. Wires are cut to the right length, stripped just enough, inserted at right angles, run in conduits, fastened with wire hangers, etc. None of the spiderweb you sometimes get. Never sloppy, always sharp. 4. They clean up after themselves. House is always impeccable after they work, which I really appreciate. Whether it's vacuuming or putting things back in a cabinet after they finish, they leave the job looking good. 5. No job too big, no job too small. They've done excellent work on jobs ranging from adding a switched outlet to a two month whole-house rewire. Same level of attention to detail and care. Bottom line: I highly recommend James A Stone for any electrical work.
