If zero stars were an option, ADT would be getting that. This is by far the worst service I have EVER paid for. We’ve had constant false alarms in the middle of the night because of faulty sensors - the exact opposite of what a security system is supposed to do. Instead of providing peace of mind, this company creates stress, sleep disruption, and ongoing frustration. I am now dealing with PTSD because of it. Trying to cancel was even worse than the service itself. The rep was EXTREMELY rude, condescending, and repeatedly talked over me. I made it very clear I wanted OUT, and instead of listening, they kept pushing more products and “benefits". Eventually they stated "I'll charge you now" even though I did not agree to that. Who is teaching them how to handle customer calls?! Their 3-year agreement is intentionally designed to trap customers. If you try to leave early (which you probably will once you realize how HORRIBLE the service is), they charge you for it. So you’re stuck paying for something that doesn’t even work properly. This company does not care about fixing issues or respecting customers. They only care about keeping you locked in and continuing to bill you. Do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY. There are countless better options, including DIY systems that are cheaper and actually work.

Terrible customer service! Quick to set up an account but tech support is non existent. They keep transferring you with NO solution

The system is clunky and obsolete, the necessity of two apps is laughable, the technicians are rude and incompetant, and after my third attempt to call and cancel, never getting an answer, the representative that I spoke with, "Kamele," hung up on me with an, "mmhmmm." after scoffing at my conerns and request. I am happy to pay my $669 cancelation fee to never deal with this horrendous company again.
