Management abandoned my household during active municipal compliance & critical care needs Unfortunately, company management has completely failed my household. I specifically signed up for D. Rohde's service plan because I am the primary caregiver for my severely disabled sister, who has quadriplegia. D. Rohde management was fully aware of our situation. When caring for someone who requires this level of intensive round-the-clock care, having reliable, functioning plumbing and dependable emergency service isn't just a convenience; it is an absolute necessity. Because I placed my trust in D. Rohde and committed to their service agreement, I declined to work with other local contractors. Yet, D. Rohde abruptly emailed me, stating that they are severing our business relationship and refusing to do any further work at my home. They abandoned us with two critical items ordered directly by the town building inspector that still need to be addressed to clear open municipal permits. Leaving a household, especially one caring for an individual with severe disability, without plumbing support and in the middle of active town building enforcement is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. It is deeply disappointing that management abandons clients when critical needs and permits are at stake. I have subsequently had other plumbers come to give me estimates for the outstanding work, who have pointed out issues with D. Rohde’s work. After I brought the issues raised by third-party plumbers to management, they decided they no longer wished to hear about the matters other plumbers were raising and sent me an email stating they would no longer respond to any further emails from me. I have other plumbers coming to give estimates and will update my review accordingly. I will also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will seek further communication with D. Rohde in the courtroom as warranted. Additionally, I had an open heating permit with D.Rohde for work that still needed to be completed. Now that they abandoned my household, I now have to pay for an additional heating permit with another contractor which is redundant fees because of D.Rohde and they are refusing to reimburse me for the cost of the new permit that I only need due to their failure to act under the one they already had open. And be sure to always check reviews on Yelp where they only have a 2.8.

I appreciated the exceptional service provided by Jordan of D Rhode Home Services. Jordan was friendly, explained what had to be done and answered any questions during the plumbing process. I had the sense that he wanted us to be fully satisfied. He also without being pushy, offered suggestions to maximize our plumbing and heating system. An estimate will be coming. I highly recommend Jordan and D Rhode Home Services.

Brian serviced our water heater today. He was funny, honest and knowledgeable. Brian was able to diagnose and fix the issue. We now have hot water. Thank you so much Brian! We really appreciate it.

D. Rohde has exemplary customer service and prompt response to every service call they receive. They communicated with me through every step of my service repair and replacement. I won’t go anywhere else for our plumbing needs!
