Downes Contracting

Edwin & his team completely transformed our basement! They were courteous and professional throughout the entire project. I was especially impressed by his attentiveness, responsiveness, and respect for our budget. It was incredible how he proactively reduced the staircase ceiling after observing my husband crouching down, all without any further cost. I have never worked with a general contractor who is such an excellent, proactive problem solver. We would definitely recommend Downes for any project. Thank you again for the wonderful work!

We renovated a bathroom with them and it turned out beautifully. Great communication. Highly recommend!

From when we reached out to them to when the work was done was under a week. They move extremely fast which was great and they did an excellent job even going a little above and beyond by helping us match floor colors where floorboards needed to be replaced which was not in the original quote. We'll definitely be using them again for future home projects.

Edwin and his crew(s) are excellent. Their attention to detail is above average. They are easy to work with. Edwin was especially patient with us when we had any questions or needed something explained. Thank you Edwin!
