ETP Heating & Cooling

We have been using ETP since 2008. Gene has serviced our air-conditioning systems in our previous home and, in our new home which was a brand new build. For all the years that we used them, they did wonderful work and were highly responsive. They solved many issues and maintained our old system beautifully. That being said, when we needed to build a new house we thought of ETP. We interviewed two other companies as well but settled on ETP as his price was in line and we were confident in what he could do. I think on our project he was in over his head. That's when we started to realize he wasn't being truthful all the time. When you work closely with someone on a project the size of ours you get to know somebody. We started to see an arrogance that he was always right and everyone else didn't know what they were talking about. He did finish the job and had supported a couple issues that we had which were due to mistakes or theirs. Recently we had a failure of an outdoor unit (there are 3) that is only 18 months old. We contacted Gene and he said he could no longer support saying he was closing his business down and going to work for someone else. I saw it with my own two eyes that he is still in business. His two trucks are still on the road and as a matter of fact I saw him today at the local Acme. That tells me he's not being truthful. When we reached out to Carrier we found that ETP is still a Carrier installer and service organization He will not support a warrantied system he installed even though he was paid in full. I am posting this review so people are informed.

ETP installed an HVAC system for me. It is hard to find someone who is honest and reasonably priced, Gene came through. He was great with providing knowledgable information. He kept us in the loop about everything. I highly recommend ETP.

Excellent Service Gene, the owner, was excellent to work with. Honest, professional, very knowledgeable, and responds promptly. He is one of the few in the area who know about high velocity air systems and is certified to install them. We had an old high velocity air handler replaced, a heat pump installed, and duct work replaced. The price was fair and the work exceptional. Could not recommend ETP Heating and Cooling more.

Great communication and got me fixed up and cooled down in less than 24 hours despite having a booked schedule. I got a guy!
