Ferris Carpentry LLC

First time experience hiring a contractor for my home remodeling project. Nick was recommended to me and I also had an appointment scheduled for an estimate with another contracting company. After Nick left from the estimate I called and cancelled with the other company. Nick and his crew were the team. There was no reason to look any further. Nick was very fair, he provided ideas and also cost saving solutions to the work I wanted done on my home, and he walked me through step by step of how the work was going to get done. He showed up at the job site everyday and communicated with me each visit. He provided a time from of work completion and met this deadlines, even with some bad weather days and also having to pivot a few times due to some unforeseen issues with my home. Top notch craftsmanship, and his crew cleaned up each day before they left the job site. In the end Nick and his crew met the vision and expectations I had for my home and then some. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone and I fact I have and they have also hired him. I look forward to working with Nick and his crew again in the near future.

I recently moved to a new home in 2023 that needed a ton of TLC. I have spent 3 years looking for a licensed contractor in Peekskill to help me update and rebuild a small but dangerous back deck that I want to enjoy this summer. A new friend in Peekskill recommended FerrisCarpentry and gave me the contact info, I called right away. Nick Ferris stopped by soon after to evaluates the situation with my deck. I found Nick Ferris to be friendly, super knowledgeable, professionalas well as insightfull, discerning and happy to answer all my question about many of my issues that concerned me in my new home, and not only the deck. I decided on the new deck materials at Dain's Lumber: N. Dain's Sons Co. and Nicks availability and we set up a date for his team to redo my deck. FerrisCarpentry is Licsnsed and Insured, which was very important to me. On Monday the team showed up with Nick on hand and they got to work right away. All during the day they worked quickly neatly and highly efficiently. The Team was friendly, really hardworking, knowledgeable, super fast and also answered all my questions or any concerns I might have. The next day they showed up early and got to work. They finished my deck and were able to complete another project I was hoping to have repaired “some day” . The team was able to pull up old carpeting on my staircase as well as finish up the deck before noon. Today I love the look of my new wood staircase and my beautiful new deck. Being extremely happy with these two projects and this company and Nick Ferris’s beautiful work. I would definitely recommend FerrisCarpentry, to anyone looking for quality work, and I already have! I‘ll also be hiring FerrisCarpentry in the near future for all the work I need in my new home. I am so psyched I found FerrisCarpentry!

Nick and his team replaced our front porch railing (aluminum). I showed him a picture of our vision and they executed it….PERFECTLY. Communication was always smooth- transparent pricing and the job was completed on time. I will be using them again for further renovation projects. A++
