GME Electric

I have been living in my house 45 years and George of GME Electric is the best electrician that I have found in more than 26 years. George calls back and arrives on time. I have used him four times thus far. GME prices are fair and reasonable. Jeremiah is very good & does a great job. Below is the new light switch to run fan or light or both. Also installation of new dawn to dusk light. George ran a new outlet in my bedroom that has a port to fast charge my iPhone. They also installed a new ceiling fan in a bedroom. They are reliable, honest, do not leave a mess, great suggestions and reasonable prices.

George and Jeremy were so professional, courteous and did an amazing job. They arrived on time and were very respectful of my home. I'm planning to call them for all my electrical needs.

I found this company online, and after reading all the reviews, I called them for an estimate for some electrical work. When I called, I spoke with George (the owner) and explained to him what needed to be done. Towards the end of the conversation, George asked me for the address, and then he informed me that he would be using this information to put me on his mailing list, which I thought was bizarre, as I had never heard of a company doing this before doing any work for them (1st red flag). George Montez and another person arrived on time for the scheduled appointment. Upon arrival, I asked George where his business was located because it did not say online, and he gave me a general area, but not the exact location (2nd red flag). As a matter of fact, he stated: “If you look really hard, you might find it.” When I showed him my panel box, he saw a sticker from another company and asked me why I decided to call him instead of the other company. I replied that it was from the prior owner, and I did not know if this company was still in business (3rd red flag). After viewing the job and taking pictures, George produced two options for how he could run the electrical wiring. When I informed him that if I decided to give him the job, he needed to be careful with the pipes in the house, he got defensive by saying, “Why, don’t you trust me?” which is totally unprofessional for him to say this because I do not know him at all (4th red flag). Lastly, I told him that I needed to confirm all of this with another person, and his response was, “Thank you, but I don’t need your business”, which was extremely rude of him to say to me. If I could, I would give this rating a half, not a one, and that is only because he was on time for the appointment, not for his professionalism and character.

I recently used GME to replace an outdoor outlet that was faulty. George was extremely responsive and professional. He arrived right on time and was a pleasure to work with. He had excellent communication skills and was very knowledgeable. HIGHLY recommend to anyone in need of an electrician!

Responded on a holiday weekend and came within a few hours. Great service!
