Great American Hardwood Floor Services Inc.

We hired Ishmael to repair our hardwood floors after they were damaged by a flood in our apartment. We were so impressed by his professionalism and prompt replies to our questions. The floors were completed ahead of schedule. They look beautiful! Our apartment was left spotlessly clean. Ismael and his co-worker, Carl, carefully moved all our furniture back in place. On top of all that, Ishmael is a terrific person. I would highly recommend him!

Just bought a house and a week before moving in it occurred to me that I ought to get the hardwood floors spruced up. I called several locals and got quotes. Ishmael at Great American Hardwood was the only one who came in person same-day to take a look. It was clear he knew everything about these floors. He quoted me a fair price, though he wasn't the cheapest. I still chose him because he was the most on-the-ball and I'm very glad I did. Results were perfect. And it was done quickly and on time. Extremely professional and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Ishmael and his team were professional, courteous and did an absolutely wonderful job. They went above and beyond to salvage and restore my water damaged floor. The end result exceeded my expectations - absolutely recommend!

Ishmael’s workers came in force -at least 4 workers the first day to remove the old carpet, linoleum & to begin the refinishing of the wood floors for my entire two bedroom apartment. I had a large old water stain under the linoleum & Ishmael was up front that his workers could lighten the discoloration (originally black in color) but would not be able to remove the damage. The second day, two workers came & fine tuned the refinishing & then applied the water based polyurethane finishes. Day 3 was drying. I had 4 small pieces of furniture to move & Ishmael’s crew helped relocate the furniture till the project was done & placed the pieces back in their original locations when the project was completed. Ishmael is a good communicator & kept his commitment to the date we agreed to & the timetable that he works on. I would enthusiastically recommend Great American Hardwood Services.

I've hired Ishmael to work on my floors twice - once to refinish all my floors right after buying the house, and once a few years later to restore a section of hardwood flooring that been covered in tiles, including filling in gaps where there used to be a wall, and replacing some planks that were damaged beyond repair. He did amazing work both times. The floors are a highlight of my home. He's easy to communicate with, shows up on time, and does what he promises. I will continue to call him and refer him to my friends.
