We had ongoing moisture and water issues in our basement and decided to install a sump pump and French drain. They were extremely accommodating with the terms and timeframe I requested. We had a specific deadline, and their team even worked over the weekend to make sure everything was completed on time, which I truly appreciated. Throughout the project, they were very professional and respectful of the property. They carefully covered and protected our belongings and made sure to thoroughly clean the workspace once the job was completed. The entire process was seamless, and I am very happy with the quality of their work. Great communication, great service, and a great company overall. For several YEARS, i was plagued with a MAJOR PROBLEM at my Brooklyn, NYC apartment building property: A two-story cottage in my back courtyard was being invaded along the rear wall by rats from a neighboring property. My neighbor’s unpaved dirt courtyard, completely overgrown with tall weeds, was the perfect burrowing and breeding ground for rats. The critters were literally tunneling under the dirt and gaining direct access to the foundation of my cottage. From there, they would find easy access gaps to move up inside the walls of the cottage and terrorize my tenants with all their scratching and screeching sounds at night. This was a nightmare that cost me THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of dollars in exterminator services to try to address. Nothing worked. Then… A MIRACLE happened. I decided to address the problem at the source by FORTIFYING my aged, and badly worn cottage foundation , from DEEP UNDERGROUND. I called Raymond and his team at HRC Waterproofing to see if they could assist me with my problem. By later that same afternoon, Raymond visited my Brooklyn property, carefully inspected my troubled foundation, and devised a professionally assessed construction plan to defeat my 4-legged rodent arch enemies forever! I explained to Raymond that I was under a tight time crunch with this job due to a new tenant moving in, within TWO-WEEKS. With my new tenant moved in, my window to perform such a massive invasive excavation repair assignment would most certainly CLOSE! He assured me that his team could finish on time and within 24 hours of my signing the contract with them, the team reported to work and got started. Raymond and his small band of TOTAL PROFESSIONALS were an absolute JOY to handle this assignment. They were friendly, personable, responsive, courteous and extremely hard-working. As they worked, I marveled at how easily and professionally they dealt with even the most unnerving unexpected obstacles: When an incredibly violent rain and thunderstorm came suddenly through my area during one of their work days, these men were completely undisturbed. As broad daylight turned into virtual night in a matter of minutes, and the sky opened up with a massive downpour, these men calmly moved their tools back indoors, and covered the entire already excavated and exposed cottage foundation with massive plastic tarps that they brought for just such an eventuality! Early during the excavation portion of the assignment, when a section of the cottage foundation became exposed and was being worked on… a “family” of four rats came scurrying out of their hiding place NEST from deep within my foundation and disappeared into the surrounding overgrown courtyard of my neighbor. Raymond’s excavator tech was not troubled or startled… he didn’t even flinch! He simply went about his work steadily and professionally… seeming even mildly AMUSED that he had successfully EVICTED another group of nasty freeloading rats! In four days, Raymond and his HRC Waterproifing crew dug more than two feet down, and two feet under to gain direct access to my cottage’s compromised foundation. Their work area was the full 25 FOOT LENGTH of my cottage’s back wall. They sealed off all gaps and entry points with a two-foot thick wall of solid crushed concrete, cinder block support structure, and thick, poured mortar cement binding everything as a MASSIVE, IMPENETRABLE UNDERGROUND WALL. They finished the job ON TIME, and left the work space SPOTLESS. When I discovered some damage to my cottage’s rain downspout, caused by this assignment, I informed Raymond and he promptly and cheerfully sent one of his men back (at no additional charge) within 2-days to repair it even BETTER than they found it! The cost of this massive assignment was more than reasonable, especially since Raymond and his team have alleviated YEARS of stress off me, and possibly added years to my life in the process! I cannot recommend Raymond and HRC Waterproofing highly enough!! 5 stars should be 1000 stars!!!i

Raymond and his team installed a French drain system around my basement perimeter walls about a year and a half ago. Until yesterday, I never really had a chance to see how well it worked. We got more than 3.5 inches of rain, and the system performed perfectly! If you’re asking whether I recommend HRC, my answer is 100% YES!

Ray and his team were an absolute dream! We had a rat situation in our basement that countless exterminators couldn’t get a table on. It took a contractor to get the job done Ray and his team were able to seal up all entry points, assist in cleaning out a back “no man’s land” area, and re-tiling an unfinished part of the basement. Ray was so thorough. He helped with so many aspects of this renovation and clean out. We have never experienced someone as committed, communicative and consistent. Almost a year out and our basement is completely changed. It feels like an extension of the apartment -not a dreaded dead zone. Thank you to Ray and his team.

This company installed two sump pumps in my home and did a great job! Raymond was very knowledgeable about our options.
