Great, reliable service - humanely trapped and removed/released a full family of groundhogs. Ray checked traps promptly, closed up when the weather was too hot, and returned until the job was complete. I'm so grateful for his knowledge and professionalism, and won't hesitate to call if I have any wildlife issues in the future!

I so dislike posting negative reviews, but only when I really feel it's warranted. That is unfortunately the case here - We have a rental property in Shrub Oak NY and called Ray from Intrepid to come out as the tenants were complaining of bats in the walls. The bats had climbed underneath the cedar shake siding on the back of the house and were accessing the closed space between the upstairs ceiling and the roof. Their son was waking up at night hearing scratching noises and was terrified to sleep in this room. Within ten days, there was bat dung coming through the ceiling into the bedroom, and they had to close off the room due to the high potential for bacterial infection from the bat dung. I called Ray at Intrepid again for the EIGHTH time and told him, I think you will now consider this an emergency! I again explained the entire situation for the eighth time. To be clear - that the pests were in the vicinity of a child's bedroom and that their dung had leached through the ceiling and was now inside the room with the family's young son. At that point he continued to put me off, saying how busy he was. After three additional days and me calling every day, he still HAD NOT SHOWN UP. I called him over a two week period and he couldn’t find the time to come out to the residence. We were desperate, as was the tenant who we always had a good relationship with. She actually called the Housing Authority on us because she thought that I wasn't doing anything to help her! I reported this to the housing authority, so not sure they did anything about it, but a friend of mine who lives in the area said they had used EJ Pest Control and had good luck with them. They came from much further away, and were able to take care of the situation within a 24 hour period. Thank you Ray for (NOT) helping us out, unbelievable. I would have preferred if he had said from the beginning that he was too busy to help us instead of telling me he'd be out there in another day, and then another day...I would have called someone else sooner. So incredibly unprofessional, I unfortunately would never recommend this business to anyone - ever :(

Called about some baby birds “nestlings” in the garage whose parents have not returned. The guy who answered didn’t know what nestlings was and told me to just leave the garage open until they leave. Called July,28th 2025. At roughly 10:45 pm. Who ever was working needs fired.

Ray is the absolute best! He came super quickly on a Saturday to remove bats that had snuck their way into my bathroom vanity. Super friendly and super reassuring, I felt so much better after having him there. He's also helped my parents at all hours of the night, truly a bat removal super hero.
