Michael A. Contracting Inc.

Called for an estimate. Came a few days later and gave me a decent price to repair cracks and reseal my driveway. Arrived when scheduled. Seemed like they did a good job. A couple of days later when i was able to walk on my driveway i noticed brown spots where they missed when sealing. Also the major crack which needed the most attention was not filled and sealed completely. I called and sent pics. Was told they would come back to repair the issues.Never showed. I gave it a couple of weeks and called again. I was informed again that they would be in the area and they would come by to address the issues. Again, no show. Third call same promise. Tried one more time and not even a call back. I would not use this company. They are quick to grab the cash and move on. They definitely do not stand by their work. Spending your hard earned money and paying top dollar you would expect good results And a bit of honesty. I will spread the word on local neighborhood sites and also leave this review on Yelp and Google. With many other companies in the area i would stay away from this one.

Michael A contracting replaced my driveway several years ago- they are professional and skilled at what they do. A Drainage problem was also resolved by this company - they went above and beyond to make sure everything was done correctly. Would highly recommend Michael A contracting for his experience and the quality of service provided

My wife and I needed a replacement stone wall and new driveway. We received 4 quotes. Michael A. Contracting was in the middle of $$ quotes but the confidence the owners (husband/wife) gave us to get the job done right was solid. They were absolutely on schedule and produced a tremendous finished product. We are extremely satisfied and highly recommend for stonework & asphalt.

Typical Nightmare when dealing with a Contractor - I was referred to him despite the awful yelp, google and Angie List Reviews. This Review is long over-due from October of last year. I was approached by a company who gave me a great price and told me that they would have extra on sale Asphalt for the month of October. 1.) He took a month to finally get me a price. To me that's a automatic red flag as he told me I would hear from him inside of 10 days. But I still trusted he would be on time to start the project for my Granddaughters Sweet 16. 2.) My Husband insisted we still proceed. He assured me that the Cold Weather wouldn't affect the Job. None the less we had a start date of Oct 1st. Michael started Oct 20th. What could I do, he already had my money. 3.) This is what I was left with after spending $7,850.00. We are Retired, Local folks of 50 years. No attempt has been made to make things right, I have no legal Recourse, and I'm not even sure what was put down. It's as if our Terribly Cracked Pot Hole Filled driveway prior to this was far better. **Follow Up** _______________ Mr Illescas as you go by on your Estimate. You provided no Guarantee and after Countless Emails, Phone Calls etc this is now the first we are hearing from you to make restitution on what you did to us. We are good people who worked hard our entire life. You chose to ignore us and leave us $7,850 poorer then we were. That may not be a lot of money to you, but for us it's our retirement. So please stop pretending. You were mailed the Documents for Small Claims Court in Carmel, you have since ignored them and now you Finally want to make restitution. You have our Phone # and address. Call and Come by, and make this right!

Michael does fantastic work. He did a full driveway replacement at my home in North Salem, NY with extensive excavating and stone wall construction along with Belgian block apron and edging. He’s creative, hard working and trustworthy. I have referred him to many friends who have also been very happy with his work.
