North County Masonry did an excellent job on my patio 100% recommended

Beautiful work! Unbelievably hard-working guys. We are thrilled with the job Luis and his team did for us. Our yard is transformed!

Wish I could give 0 stars. I typically never leave a bad review for anyone, but the amount of disrespect I've experienced is unreal. I hired Luis for lawn maintenance in October 2021 (i.e. mowing and weedwacking) and stipulated that I would not sign a contract outright because I wanted to see the quality of the job first. He and one other worker came a total of 3 times. The first time they arrived the grass was long, so he said he could not bag the excess grass because it was too high. Fine. That is understandable and to be expected. Barely any weedwacking was done and Luis said it would be done next time. My spouse and I politely requested that the grass also be bagged the next time they came to which Luis agreed. The second time they came, they again did not bag the excess grass. When we approached to ask if they would, again we were told it would be bagged the next time. We asked if they could at least blow off the loose grass, and they did so half-heartedly, still leaving a thick layer of dead grass. We had to rake it all up ourselves to preserve the living grass which took hours by hand! We wanted to give them a third chance and hoped it would be bagged the third time, but after again asking them to bag, they half-heartedly blew some of the dead grass into the road. We politely cancelled the service with them only to receive this text message in response, translated to the effect of: "How messed up. After nobody wanted to cut your grass because it was so ugly. What if we would have signed a contract. Think about it again." Everything listed above is the reason no contract was signed in the first place. Now, today my neighbors that border my property hired some landscapers for fall cleanup. Guess who they hired? Luis A. Martinez, who blew each and every leaf onto my lawn so that I am walking KNEE DEEP in leaves. Highly unprofessional, not to mention unethical. Not a single leaf was taken with them, and sticks were also thrown over, all of which we have on video surveillance. As a contractor you should know better. Again, I barely ever leave a negative review, but this is just wrong. The moment I saw the whirlwind of leaves coming over onto my property is the moment I realized I needed to post this review. If the company were to fix this issue by removing the leaves they blew onto my property, I would take down this review. But based on my experience, I doubt this would happen. Photos attached.

Luis and team did a great job with our spring cleanup. It’s our first spring here and he was able to advise which bushes were better off waiting to be trimmed until the fall.

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES. MR. MARTINEZ TRIMMED BRANCHES AND CUT DOWN SOME TREES FOR ME. HIS PRICES WERE THE MOST AFFORDABLE COMPARED TO OTHER PLACES I CALLED. HIS SCHEDULING IS ALSO VERY FLEXIBLE.
