SERVPRO of Western Dutchess County

Patrick and the crew of SERVPRO of Western Dutchess County were the consummate professional to work with. We had a heavily damaged family home from a broken pipe flood damage plus many years of wear-and-tear. We needed it repaired and updated to get on the market for sale. We contracted with them to go over and above the insurance payments to upgrade the house to current standards In a nutshell it looked almost new after their many repairs and improvements. Walls, floors , painting, kitchen installation, etc. We had 3 purchase offers within 5 days on the market and a new family has just moved in. DO NOT HIRE!!!!! First, let me start by saying that Servpro was recommended by my insurance company. They not only did a TERRIBLE job by leaving half my floor soaking wet, which forced me to hire another company to address the issue, but the entire experience was beyond unprofessional and STRESSFUL! One of their employees used my toilet, knowing the water was shut off, and left it sitting there for days. I only discovered it when I had to return to the house to get clothes for my children, three of whom are under six years old. I almost fainted walking into my home from the smell of crap sitting in my toilet. Another concerning issue was that their project manager was also communicating directly with my insurance company and making recommendations that, from my understanding, he was not licensed or certified to make. Especially since he was hired by us. On top of that, while the fans and drying equipment were running, (WHICH DID NOTHING )one day SERVPRO did not even show up to monitor the property. And finally, they cut out only half of my flooring while leaving the other half completely wet. I have photos proving this. This was honestly one of the worst experiences I have ever had dealing with a restoration company. Extremely unprofessional, careless, and stressful for my family during an already difficult situation. DO NOT HIRE!

The service I received was prompt and professional. I also appreciated the high level of communication they maintained throughout the process. I was always aware of what their next step was going to be.

Man where do I start with these guys. I had a housefire about 2 years back and servpro came in to do the restoration. My house needed to have full restoration and they took the job. I had to check on everything they did as they are very deceiving and the material they were trying to use was the cheapest in the market. The subcontractors they hire didnt look like they knew what they were doing and half the time half assed the job…from tiles to Attic insulation, to new gutters they installed. I recently had the attic inspected and found out that they had just brought the insulation up there without properly putting it in. One advice…do not use these guys if you want things rebuilt. Stay away!
