I hired this contractor for a full apartment renovation after being told he had the experience and skilled team to execute high-end work. Unfortunately, the reality did not match what was represented. Work was repeatedly delayed well beyond the contract deadline, and much of the execution was performed by unskilled labor rather than specialists. There were numerous technical and sequencing errors that required remediation or full replacement, including cabinetry built incorrectly, fixtures installed without proper coordination, uneven and out-of-level finishes, and tile work that had to be redone. Several elements were installed improperly the first time and “fixed” multiple times without resolving the underlying issues. Communication became increasingly unreliable, and explanations for errors were often inaccurate or inconsistent. Ultimately, the project required contract termination and legal counsel to resolve outstanding issues. While the final result was achieved after significant correction by others, the process was far more costly, prolonged, and stressful than it should have been. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone undertaking a renovation that requires precision, experienced supervision, and accountability.

Update 11.21.25: Well here we go again about 2 weeks after Victor came out to fix shower leak it started up again worse than before I looked and found more gaps. Called Abraham promised he would come take care of all the problems. Again he ghosted so it looks like I will just have to pay a separate contractor to fix all of the problems that they didn't take care of. It's a shame I want to believe him but I think he either is a person that can't help but lie and promise everything. Or is just a really shady business person that doesn't stand behind there work. Now I'm concerned that with all the work that was done if that to will start failing. We spent 20k for "professional" paint job that is starting to peel. We spent good money on expensive paint that he recommended so I'm not sure if bad prep or something else. You would think that 200k in renovations that it would last more than 2 years. and some items less than 12 months. Again I would check around and get a second estimate than trust this company, I don't want anyone else to get burned and pay for less than average work: or at least work of quality and that lasts. (Original Post) Abraham on the surface is a very good salesman says all the right things, but ultimately make sure before paying off that everything in final punch list is done. He will say he warranty’s his work but once he’s gone he will not come back to finish. It took over a year to get workers to come back and finish and that ultimately was his brother trying to do the right thing. But even though some of the items were completed they still didn’t finish what was promised. Still have a leak coming from shower that was done it’s now been almost 3 years and he finally responded about 3 weeks ago promising to finish and fix, so I removed initial review: and again he just disappeared and never responded to his promise to come out and fix. We hired them to do a full tear down and build for our duplex. 80% of the work was fine but if you want everything to be done correctly go to someone else we had custom closet and dresser built and things like handles being misaligned, cheap wood, bad staining/finish. Coat rods not placed properly so coat hangers don’t fit correctly. As stated leak in the shower. Shower hardware misaligned etc. not installing washer and dryer correctly. Again on a base level ok work but when spending almost 200k on work you expect job to be done correctly and punch list finished correctly. Again if you want to use this company make sure to hold back last payment until work is finished to satisfaction and agreed upon job description. Do not fall for the I’m here and promise these items will be finished. Again against better judgement we paid off everything thinking after 3 month business relationship he would follow through with his promises

Finding a good contractor feels like the Wild West. I am so pleased to finally have someone I trust. We are very, very pleased with Unique’s kitchen and bathroom tile job. Abraham and crew’s craftsmanship, quick turnaround (an entire kitchen floor and bathroom took just under a week), professionalism, responsiveness and reasonable price were great! He set expectations clearly, sourced or helped me source all the materials, was clean, and did the job in a way that minimized inconvenience to our family. He made a project I was totally overwhelmed by easy and I can’t wait to do more work with them.
