Walter Soto's Tree Service & Landscaping Inc.

VERY unprofessional crew. My NEIGHBOR was getting work done this morning, and one of the crew members thought it’d be a bright idea to block MY driveway and use it as a parking lot for his truck and wood-chipper while waiting for the other truck to back into my neighbor’s. The bigger truck gave two long honks for whatever reason before he started backing into my neighbor’s driveway, despite the road being clear from oncoming traffic; it scared both cats in my home, as well as the livestock on my property (I guess having the other crew member on the phone to directly communicate wasn’t an option??). The truck blocking my driveway made no attempt to move when he saw me walk out to my car which I had auto-started two minutes earlier (he was sitting there already), blocked it for another 5 minutes. I backed out of my spot, guy STILL didn’t move until I finally had enough and pulled up right behind him and rode his behind while he went a speedy 2mph out of my driveway. No attempt at apologizing when I slowly went past him to get a look at his face, just all smiles like it was a joke. I ended up late to work because of this nonsensical 10-minute ordeal, and I ended up getting written up because of it. Tell your crew not to trespass, and I’m telling you that you will NEVER receive our business after that. If it happens again tomorrow morning, I WILL be calling the cops to officially trespass your crew from our property. Will be recommending Dave’s Tree Service to everyone in the Red Hook/Tivoli/Clermont area that needs something done.

As a septic contractor, we sometimes need trees taken down quickly, and Walter is always there when we need him. He answers the phone, shows up when he says he will, and gets the job done quickly, cleanly, and professionally. I ended up having him at my own house, and honestly, he went above and beyond. The neighbors are still talking about how good the job looks and how professional he was.I would definitely recommend Walter and his company. Walter and his team are amazing.

True professionals. Showed up as promised, did a nice job with cleaning up. Will use again. Thanks Guys!

Want to give a big shout out to someone who knows their business Walter Sotos who came and removed trees that had fallen on my deck. He came as soon as we called him and returned the next day to start the work which was completed in a timely manner. The gentleman were all courteous and knew what they were doing. I definitely give them a 5+ and will definitely use them if I need to again however I recommend him to everyone don’t waste your time calling people who don’t know what they’re doing because he definitely does. He made everything easy for me including dealing with my insurance direct so thank you Walter.

Walter and his four workers are exceptional. We intend to partner with them into the foreseeable future!
