DBS Remodel

I wish I could give six stars to DBS for how happy we are with the remodeling job they did for us in our primary suite and bathroom. Our house has some unusual architecture and they did some really creative and impressive work to help us maximize the space. Easily the most detail-oriented and careful contractors I’ve ever worked with, while it’s cliche to say they treated our house like their own it’s absolutely true. Shout-out to our consultant Corinne and lead carpenter Andrew, they deserve a raise after dealing with some of the complexities of this remodel. I can’t wait to work with them again (DBS in general, Andrew and Corinne specifically) and we’re already lining up the next project.

We had an outstanding experience working with DBS on our dining room extension and expanded kitchen. From start to finish, the team delivered on their commitments with an impressive level of timeliness—staying on track and completing the project exactly as planned and on time. Once the project was underway, there were very few days where work was not actively happening. The professionalism of the entire DBS team truly stood out. Under Rob’s leadership, both the core team and their subcontractors were organized, respectful, and clearly committed to doing great work. When you have someone in your house every day for a period of time- this really stood out! Every person we interacted with demonstrated pride in their craft and a genuine focus on delivering a great experience. We also really appreciated how clean and well-managed they left the house everyday. The team took care to keep the space as tidy as possible, which made a big difference during such a significant renovation. Communication was another major strength. Michelle, who first started this journey with us, was fantastic—proactive, responsive, and always ensuring we knew what to expect next. Her level of knowledge on both design and structure was increible. We also had wonderful interactions with Nadine and Jen, providing thorough updates, clear information, and bringing deep knowledge and expertise to every interaction. We always felt informed and supported. Above all, the quality of the work speaks for itself. The attention to detail and level of craftsmanship in our new space is exceptional. Every element feels thoughtfully executed and built to last. We couldn’t be happier with the end result and would highly recommend DBS to anyone looking for a team that combines professionalism, strong communication, and truly top-tier workmanship.

DBS remodeled our bathroom and added a closet to our bedroom. They did a beautiful job. In addition to doing great work, they were always on time, very neat, courteous and were great at communicating from the planning phase right through the completion of the job. I would definitely recommend DBS.

DBS Remodel did an amazing job finishing our basement. Brian designed the space perfectly to fit our needs, and Shane, the lead carpenter, made sure it was executed perfectly.
